knowledge of Buddhism and some meditation experience.
Level 3 (L3)

solid understanding of Buddhist principles and meditate regularly.

Summer Break
We'll be taking a break during the
summer. Please check back late August for course offerings.
Mondays, April 21 - May 19,
2008, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Meditation is the systematic
development of higher states of awareness and a deeper experience of
kindness and compassion. It is a means of developing positive states of
mind such as clarity confidence and happiness.
In this five-week course we will be
concerned primarily with two simple and time-proven meditation
techniques. One method is concerned with the development of a tranquil
and concentrated mind, while the other allows us to cultivate feelings
of friendliness and goodwill towards ourselves, and other living
beings. This course is intended for those with little or no experience
of meditation but also works well for more experienced meditators.
There is a suggested donation of $70
for the course, although all are welcome, regardless of ability to pay.
You may pay for the class in advance by using the donate button below.
